How will the house cleaner know my priorities?

If it’s your first time booking an appointment with the house cleaner, be sure to review the scope of work outlined on this page before your appointment so you know what’s included in a typical cleaning. You may send us your list of priorities by text message or email, or plan to be available to review your cleaning preferences and priorities when we get there. Any special requests should be discussed before the service appointment begins, as some requests are not included in a standard cleaning and may result in an updated service price.

How do I schedule each cleaning? How far out can I schedule my appointments?

During checkout, you’ll be prompted to select your appointment preferences for your first house cleaning. As for recurring service plans, please contact us in order to set everything up. You may also call schedule and us all at once over the phone.

Typical scope of work is described below.

 

1-  WHAT CLEANING MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED?

Our maids will bring their own cleaning materials, except for paper towel and trash bags. We use the standard and basic most used household chemicals such as bathroom cleaner with bleach, glass cleaner, soap scum remover, furniture polish, vinegar, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, cleaning rags, squeegee mop, duster, canister vacuum cleaner. Please send us a note about any specific product needs to be used. Special products are used when provided by the customer.

  

2-  WHAT TO EXPECT ON A DEEP AND FIRST-TIME CLEANINGS?

Please see below a general description of our scope of work.

Some standard tasks not listed but may also be included.

 

✓  DUSTING & GLASSES

We wipe-off all furniture surfaces and standing decor, millwork, lighting, windows seals, mirrors, picture frames, shelves, front and back glass doors, window blinds and other exposed surfaces.

We use soft cleaning cloths. Cleaning products included: Pledge and Windex

Time may be limited and DO NOT INCLUDE tasks such as the dusting of collection items, small items, toys, book collections, chandeliers and lighting crystals, interior of china cabinets, artificial and natural plants, very tall and hard-to-reach shelves and windows.

Detailed window glasses cleaning are not included and extra charge applies when requested.

Products used: dish soap, sponge, stainless steel cleaner, glass-cleaner, soft-scrub, and degreasers are included.

 

By request services with extra charge:

✓  Washing of pots and pans

Cleaning silver.

 

✓  VACUUMING

Rugs, upholstery as needed, hard floors and carpets.

We use a canister vacuum cleaner to reach for corners and under furniture.

 

✓  FLOORS

Slightly damped moping with a neutral floor cleaner.

Kitchen and bathroom floors are cleaned more aggressively if needed.

We use clean towels and a squeegee mop. Other types of mops and products can be used if provided to us.

Applying wax or polish and products are only provided by request.

 

✓  BATHROOMS

Bathroom completely sanitized and disinfected – toilets and showers are scrubbed with soap scum and each chemical.

 

✓  ORGANIZING/ KEEPING IT NEAT

Making or straightening up beds

Changing sheets (an extra set of clean sheets must be provided by customer).

 

By request: bedding laundry is done by request. Extra charge may apply. Please let us know in advance if you wish to include laundry. 

Emptying out trash cans and take trash out (exceptions to harmful biological and chemicals). Heavy trash may not be removed. Bags to be provided to us by customer.
